The PEAR approach

Moving beyond the code-along.

01

Core fundamentals

Students start from zero and build confidence with beginner-friendly Python lessons.

02

Physical hardware

Raspberry Pi kits, sensors, and breadboards make abstract ideas tangible.

03

TEAL-style teams

Inspired by MIT's Technology Enabled Active Learning model, students learn in active teams instead of passive rows: they debug, test, explain, and iterate with mentor support in the room.

PEAR students building a circuit together at a table.

Program structure

A program for curious students to make something real.

The summer program combines Python, Raspberry Pi labs, mentorship, and a final capstone showcase. PEAR is designed for students who deserve access to serious tools, patient guidance, and the thrill of building with their own hands.
